This Program is known by several different names:
At Dogwood Montessori, this program is for ages Conception to 2 1/2 and it is a Parent/Infant Program.
This Program is for parents who are interested in beginning their parenting years using a Montessori approach with their children right from the beginning!
Parents come with their children and we discuss how to set up a Montessori home environment and demonstrate how to work with your child using the Montessori approach.

The Atrium is the Center of our classroom community, and all other disciplines radiate from that center!
The Atrium Lessons, based on the Montessori model, are provided by the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (cgsusa.org).
Classic Montessori Environment for children ages 2 1/2 - 6 years.
There are two levels of instruction provided under this program. The first is low-intensity homework assistance provided in the context of the 5-day-a-week after-care program, typically for Elementary students. Instruction here is on as "as-needed" basis, and may be offered to several students at a time. There is a small additional cost for this service ($200/mo., vs. the $160/mo. for after-care without homework assistance).
The second type involves Customized personal tutoring for students from Elementary through Middle School. Typical subjects would include Math (through Algebra and Geometry), History, and French. Help can also be given with reading comprehension, SAT preps, and English as a Second Language. The charge for this service, provided at the Dogwood site, is normally $30/hr, and is typically offered in blocks of 4 sessions at a time ($120/block).
